What is the Flip Up method?

The Flip Up Beaded Row is one of THE hottest extensions methods on the market!

This method utilizes the same proven installation techniques as our original Beaded Row Method but incorporates a new stitching pattern and a new way to place the hand-tied wefts so that the beads are undetectable and tension is reduced. 

The Flip Up creates maximum length and fullness while resulting in zero damage, perfect for the most fine-haired clients.

What are the benefits?

• Very popular install method for hand-tied wefts
• Quick install than other methods (we’re talking 2-4 hours)
• With no visible beads, it’s hard to spot where the extensions actually are
• Allows clients to go longer in between maintenance appointments (the average time frame your client will wait in between appointments is 6-9 weeks)
• NO adhesives are used for this method
• No need for a major haircut on the hair extensions at your maintenance appointments since rows are installed at the same place on the head at your maintenance appointments, keeping the length of hair extensions as long as possible for its life span

Who’s a good candidate for the Flip Up Method?

Here are a few key factors before recommending this method to your client...

• Hair type

Good news! This method is well-suited for most hair types! You can install the Flip Up Method on anyone with thin to thick hair and fine to coarse hair. 

A good rule of thumb is to ensure you have enough hair to fit into a bead without the section being larger than 1” wide. This client will be a good candidate for a beaded row if this is possible!

*Always be sure to ask your client if they have a sensitive scalp or alopecia (if yes, this client would NOT be a good fit for a beaded row). 

• Lifestyle

Another bonus... this method is perfect for our active girlies! If there was such a thing as the perfect ponytail extensions, this would be it! 

Also, adding the Flip Up Method to your client’s hair will actually help their real hair grow. This is the case since most of the heat from our hot tools will be applied to the hair extensions rather than the natural hair. 

The beaded row is excellent for holding hairstyles, allowing your client to spend less time on their day-to-day hair and more time doing what they love!

• Maintenance

Lastly, maintenance. We always encourage ensuring your client can commit to coming into the salon every 6-9 weeks for their maintenance appointments.
