Salon Crushes: Capelli Salon Studio

At Philocaly, we get goosebumps when we step into salons that take our breath away! Capelli Salon Studio is no exception. 

As Saskatchewan’s leading luxury hair atelier, Capelli promises to be “not just a salon, but an experience.”

With an ethos for professionalism, education, and quality, we are so excited to share with you Capelli Salon Studio as our Salon Crush this month... 

The overall inspo for our salon was to make guests feel like they left Saskatoon and ended up in an NYC salon. 

We wanted a large, industrial loft-type of feeling where guests can walk around, grab a drink and relax. We added touches on concrete, wood and brick with gold and black accents to keep it timeless but luxurious.

We wanted to have a large conversation/working table for our guests and staff so they can feel like they can catch up on whatever they need to during their day. It’s absolutely the focal point of our salon! 

None of our stations have their own product shelves, and each stylist switches stations every day. We did this to keep it different for our guests and team, avoid clutter, and keep everything clean. 

Our back bar has a wooden slat dividing wall to separate it from guests but still maintain the airy and open feel. 

Working with different industrial type textures keeps our salon timeless, which avoids having to reno every 5 years due to making it too “trendy”.
